We are rewriting the traditional hospitality mindset, paving the way for a fresh approach at our 8 hotels in Bloomsbury. Our purpose is to provide authentic London experiences and memorable stays to all our guests, starting with the right team.
The Holiday Inn Bloomsbury Hotel is nestled opposite the picturesque Russell Square Gardens in the vibrant heart of Bloomsbury, London. Our newly acquired and refurbished IHG Brand hotel features 316 rooms, a ground floor coffee bar, an atmospheric Irish pub, and 14 event spaces that can accommodate up to 300 people.
As an Assistant Food & Beverage Manager, you will support the Food & Beverage Manager in overseeing the food & beverage operations, ensuring high standards of service and compliance with health and safety practices while maximising guest satisfaction consistently on each shift.
Key Duties:- Oversee bar services and maintain responsibility for beverages, ensuring all functions run smoothly and customer requirements are met.
- Liaise regularly with the F&B Manager and operational teams on departmental performance and updates.
- Receive and respond to all customer feedback, ensuring satisfaction and dealing with feedback professionally and efficiently.
- Take responsibility for stock ordering and inventory for each outlet, ensuring all equipment and materials are ready for service.
- Review daily sales and beverage costs, track against budget, and plan future sales and revenue opportunities.
- Previous experience as Head Bartender or Assistant Bar Manager in a fast-paced environment with a passion for food and beverage.
- A passion for hospitality, creating memorable experiences for guests.
- Personable and engaging, able to build rapport easily with great communication skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- A natural leader, able to motivate, develop, and coach the team.
