Holiday Inn London Heathrow M4J4 is set to make an exciting return in September 2026. Following an extensive transformation, the hotel will reopen as a vibrant, contemporary destination for business travellers, holidaymakers, airline crews, conferences, and local guests alike.

The Opportunity

We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Kitchen Porter to join our kitchen team and play an essential role in keeping the kitchen running smoothly, safely and efficiently. This role is at the heart of the kitchen operation. By maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organisation, and supporting the chefs with preparation and set up, you will help create a calm, efficient environment where the whole team can perform at their best. Your work behind the scenes will directly support food quality, hygiene and service flow, helping to ensure guests enjoy a positive dining experience. You will be part of a team that values reliability, cooperation and respect, where every contribution matters.

Key Responsibilities

  • Wash and clean dishes, pots, pans and kitchen equipment thoroughly and efficiently
  • Keep all kitchen areas clean, tidy and organised throughout the shift
  • Sweep and mop floors and manage waste and recycling responsibly
  • Assist with basic food preparation tasks such as peeling and chopping vegetables
  • Receive, check and store deliveries of food and kitchen supplies correctly
  • Support kitchen set up and close down procedures
  • Clean cooking equipment and work surfaces to hygiene standards
  • Follow all food safety, hygiene and health regulations
