A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A FRONT OFFICE TEAM MEMBER (32 HOURS) As a Front Office Team Member, you will be at the heart of the guest experience, creating memorable stays from check-in to check-out.
This is a varied role that combines front office duties with food and beverage responsibilities, working in the kitchen and supporting our breakfast and evening service operations to ensure guests receive exceptional service throughout their stay.
What you'll be doing Welcoming guests with a friendly and professional attitude.
Managing check-ins and check-outs efficiently and accurately.
Handling guest enquiries, requests and complaints, ensuring they are resolved promptly.
Processing reservations and ensuring guest information is correctly recorded.
Answering telephone calls and responding to emails professionally.
Preparing and maintaining the front desk area to brand standards.
Supporting the delivery of our Express Start Breakfast service.
Assisting with food preparation and service during breakfast and evening food operations.
Working within the kitchen to prepare, present and serve food safely and efficiently.
Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and food safety throughout all food and beverage areas.
Replenishing breakfast and dinner service items as required.
Working collaboratively with all hotel departments to deliver an exceptional guest experience.
Following all health & safety, food hygiene and company procedures.
Supporting colleagues across the hotel during busy periods.
WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU A positive, friendly and enthusiastic personality.
Previous customer service or hospitality experience would be advantageous, although full training will be provided.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
A genuine passion for delivering outstanding guest service.
The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Confidence using computer systems and technology.
Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
A flexible approach to working shifts, including weekends and bank holidays.
A willingness to work across Front Office, Breakfast, Kitchen and Evening Food Service operations.
Food Hygiene knowledge is desirable but not essential.
