We’re looking for a dynamic and experienced Oracle Cloud Technical Specialist to join our team in Bradford. (BD4). This hybrid position requires at least two days per week in the office.
You’ll play a key role in an exciting transformation programme aimed at consolidating multiple EBS platforms into a single, global multi-org Oracle Fusion ERP solution.
In this role, you’ll lead the delivery of small-scale technical enhancements, provide third-line support for Oracle Fusion platforms and peripheral systems, and contribute to the ongoing evolution of our enterprise applications.
What will you be doing?
- Prepare solution and technical design documentation.
- Develop and implement technical solutions for Oracle Fusion ERP.
- Design and build integrations using Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), including:
- REST and SOAP API calls
- FBDI file uploads
- Data extraction via BI Publisher, OTBI, and analysis reports.
- Build customisations using Visual Builder and Process Builder.
- Apply industry-standard design patterns to ensure scalable, sustainable solutions.
- Assess the impact of change requests and provide accurate estimates.
- Evaluate and improve existing business processes.
- Take ownership of third-line support incidents across Oracle Fusion ERP.
We tend to look for people with:
Essential
- Strong understanding of Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) or similar cloud-based integration platforms.
- Proficiency in PL/SQL and Oracle Fusion ERP.
- Solid knowledge of web service development and architecture (SOAP/REST).
- Experience with SaaS integration frameworks: Web Services, SOAP, WSDL, XSD, XML, XSLT, XQUERY.
- Proven track record delivering large-scale integration projects using OIC.
- Experience with BI Publisher/OTBI reporting and data conversions (FBDI, ADFI).
- Good understanding of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).
- Familiarity with integration security, user provisioning, and single sign-on technologies.
- Experience working in Agile and/or Waterfall project environments.
Desirable:
- Oracle Cloud or equivalent integration platform certification.
- Experience with Oracle SOA Suite, BPEL, Mediator, Business Rules, and Web Services.
- Experience customising Oracle Fusion ERP applications using ADF (run-time and design-time).
- Additional experience with PL/SQL development.
