We are looking for a Senior Business Analyst to join the LGC group on a 12‑month contract. This role offers an outstanding chance to work on innovative projects that drive business change, operational efficiencies, and improve systems, processes and data. You will collaborate with senior members across various groups, giving you a complete view of the business while you help build our future.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborating closely with the Senior Project Manager and the eCommerce team to capture and analyze business needs for assigned projects.
- Assessing the business impact of requirements and detailing the As-Is and To-Be processes for each project.
- Identifying measurable advantages for each project and guaranteeing they align with the strategic objectives of the eCommerce roadmap.
- Coordinating User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and addressing issues to ensure project requirements are met flawlessly.
- Building positive relationships with key business team members to ensure effective collaboration.
- Delivering against the agreed project work and key achievements, contributing to improved project delivery within the team.
- Engaging effectively across all teams within LGC IT and Standards business units.
Qualifications
- At least 5 years of experience working as a Business Analyst, including positions as a Senior or Lead Business Analyst.
- Formal qualification in business analysis and requirements definition at the practitioner level.
- Demonstrable experience in delivering eCommerce projects.
- Working knowledge of Agile and Waterfall project methodologies.
- Proficiency in using Jira, Confluence, and MS Visio for detailing business requirements.
- Ability to assess and clearly communicate the business impact of requirements.
- Outstanding communication skills, with the ability to provide well‑balanced updates to senior business representatives.
- Highly organized, capable of defining projects and driving them to successful implementation against defined plans.
- Analytical approach with good interpersonal and problem‑solving skills.
- Ability to respond positively to changing priorities and project issues.
