The Marketing Executive at LGC plays a pivotal role in supporting the marketing team to deliver creative, engaging, and effective campaigns across all channels. This is a highly varied role in a small, dynamic team within an ever-growing creative business, offering the opportunity to develop both technical skills and creativity while being closely involved in all aspects of marketing, events, and community engagement. We’re looking for someone dynamic, positive, flexible and proactive, who thrives in a fast-paced environment. You’re confident juggling multiple tasks, comfortable working independently or as part of a small, collaborative team, and highly organised to keep projects on track.
What will you do?
- Social Media Content & Management: Create, schedule, and publish engaging content for LGC’s Instagram and TikTok channels. Collaborate with the team on content ideas, campaigns, and trends to ensure social channels reflect LGC’s creative brand voice. Monitor and report on social media performance, engagement metrics, and trends. Support the TikTok strategy, including EGC, UGC content and micro-CTA campaigns to drive engagement and conversion. Manage the online blog.
- Email & CRM Campaign Support: Assist with content creation for automated and broadcast mailers, ensuring alignment with campaigns and marketing calendar. Support the use of Ometria or other email platforms (knowledge of Klarna is a plus). Collaborate with the marketing team to optimise customer journeys, segmentation and email performance.
- Marketing Calendar & Planning: Maintain and update the marketing calendar, ensuring alignment across all channels. Coordinate with suppliers and brands for planned marketing activities, product launches and campaigns. Invoice suppliers for marketing activity. Build opportunities for partnerships and collaborative initiatives with suppliers, brands and charities.
- Event Planning & Execution: Support planning and execution of events, including Student Days & Freshers Fairs, Christmas Fair, Workshops & In-store events, and LGC Art Prize. Assist with logistics, scheduling, materials, and coordination with staff and suppliers. Attend events to support setup, running and wrap-up, ensuring smooth execution.
- Charity & Community Engagement: Liaise with charities and community partners to identify and implement collaborative opportunities. Support campaigns or initiatives that enhance LGC’s community presence and creative engagement.
- Creative & Operational Support: Support the team with ad-hoc marketing projects, such as campaigns, displays and creative visuals. Assist in content photography, videography and visual storytelling where needed. Contribute ideas to enhance LGC’s brand identity and creative output. Liaise with graphic design on online marketing content (banners / photography). Collate and present marketing reports for management.

- Experience or interest in email marketing platforms (Ometria / Klarna)
- Excellent organisation and planning skills to manage multiple campaigns and events
- Ability to multitask and prioritise
- Strong communication skills for liaising with suppliers, partners and internal teams
- Creativity, initiative and the ability to execute ideas independently
- Flexibility and adaptability to work across varied projects
- Previous experience in Social Media, Marketing and Events planning
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- An interest in Art / Design is preferable
