Join the Team as an Analytics Business Partner!

We are looking for a finance professional with a passion for data and a talent for deriving key insights to support decision-making. We have an exciting opportunity for the right person to join our Business Analytics team as an Analytics Business Partner .

This senior role will give the chance to work closely with senior team members, providing high-quality, evidence-based insights that drive strategic decisions. This position offers a dynamic and exciting environment where you can grow personally and professionally, showcasing standard processes in data analysis and using LGC’s analytical resources.

  • Ensure Report Accuracy and Availability: Collaborate with business users to understand reports and ensure outputs are high-quality.
  • Develop Reports and Dashboards: Create new reports and dashboards to help users gain insights and make evidence-based decisions.
  • Improve Data Quality and Integration: Test new data sources, automate existing reports, and support data quality initiatives.
  • Drive Reporting Innovation: Enhance reporting and visualization techniques, promoting self-service analytics and raising awareness of available data sources.

Qualifications

What We’re Looking For:

  • Technical Skills: Proficient in Tableau (or similar) for creating reports and dashboards, advanced Excel skills, including Data Query and Data Model Pivots, and basic SQL knowledge.
  • Analytical Approach: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to data integrity and a commercial attitude.
  • Experience and Qualifications: Professional accounting qualification, relevant degree, and at least 5 years in a commercial or financial analytics role.
  • Communication Skills: Ability to guide users, document processes, and communicate complex data concepts clearly.
  • Proactive Learner: Self-motivated with a willingness to quickly learn new skills and adapt to changing needs.
