As Senior Supporter Experience Specialist, you will help lead our supporter experience strategy, creating engaging journeys that strengthen supporter loyalty, maximise long-term value and support Scope's mission to create an equal future with disabled people.

Fixed term (12 months, maternity cover), full time (35 hours a week)

Location: Here East Press Centre, 14 East Bay Lane, London, E15 2GW and working from home.

The role

As the Senior Supporter Experience Specialist, you will play a key role in shaping how Scope engages, retains and grows relationships with its financial supporters.

Working closely with colleagues across fundraising, you will use insight, data and sector knowledge to enhance supporter journeys and maximise long-term value:

  • Lead the development and continuous improvement of Scope's supporter experience and journey strategy.
  • Use insight and data to identify opportunities to improve supporter engagement, retention and lifetime value.
  • Lead email marketing and engagement campaigns, including planning, delivery, reporting and optimisation.
  • Oversee audience management, segmentation, testing and personalisation activity.
  • Build strong relationships across fundraising teams, providing specialist advice and support on supporter engagement.
  • Manage agency relationships and ensure campaigns are delivered to high standards.
  • Line manage and develop the Supporter Experience Executive, providing coaching, support and development opportunities.

About you

We're looking for an experienced supporter engagement or fundraising professional who combines strategic thinking with a hands-on approach.

You’ll be confident using data and insight to improve performance, building strong stakeholder relationships and helping others develop and grow.

  • Experience in fundraising, supporter experience or customer engagement.
  • Experience developing and delivering successful email marketing and engagement campaigns.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to use data and insight to drive decisions.
  • Experience managing multiple stakeholders and building effective working relationships.
  • Knowledge of email marketing platforms, customer relationship management systems and audience segmentation.
  • Experience supervising, coaching or developing colleagues.
  • Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • A passion for creating great supporter experiences and continuously improving performance.
