We're looking for an experienced ATE Manager to join our team on a permanent basis, based in London and covering the South East region. The role will involve regular travel across the region.
The position offers a salary of £74,000 per annum, alongside a hybrid working arrangement.
To provide a first class standard of quality assurance to E&T's functions in respect of:
- Authorised Training Employers & Principals (ATEs & ATPs)
- Audit Qualification (AQ)
What you will be doing:
- To assess and, where appropriate, approve organisations as ICAEW ATEs/ATPs in conformity with the Training Standards, Training Authorisation Procedures and allied regulations, procedures and processes.
- To periodically review ATEs/ATPs to ensure that all required standards are being adhered to and that ATE/ATP status may continue.
- To review and consider applications for the Audit Qualification and make awards where appropriate.
- To contribute to the operation and development of ATE/ATP regulatory work, e.g. compliance with FRC, ICAEW Regulations etc.
What you will need:
- A wide and up to date knowledge of the accountancy profession and its current challenges, especially in respect of the oversight of the profession.
- Current experience of audit and awareness of regulations surrounding the Audit Qualification.
- A thorough understanding of the ICAEW Training Regulations.
- In depth knowledge of the different categories of ATEs/ATPs and the impact that has on Practical Work Experience.
