Join the Close Brothers Sales Team and play a key role in growing our dealer network across the Cardiff region, identifying and securing new motor dealer partnerships while strengthening and maximising existing relationships. We're looking for a sales professional with experience of developing and executing territory sales strategies, delivering against targets, and building strong, long-term customer relationships.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop and deliver a territory sales strategy that drives sustainable growth and achieves agreed sales targets.
Build, manage and grow dealer relationships, ensuring strong performance across profitability, quality and operational efficiency measures.
Lead business development activity for key accounts, identifying opportunities to increase penetration across the full range of products and services.
Act as a market expert, identifying emerging opportunities and trends to strengthen and evolve our lending proposition.
Gather and utilise market intelligence to inform decisions on products, pricing, promotions and competitor positioning.
Identify, assess and mitigate risks, ensuring full compliance with internal policies, regulatory requirements and industry standards.
WE WOULD LOVE TO HEAR FROM YOU IF YOU HAVE/ARE:
Proven success managing and growing accounts across a geographically defined territory.
Strong business development and key account management experience, with the ability to influence and build relationships at management level.
Demonstrable experience of delivering results through a structured and effective sales process.
Strong IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, Word and Outlook.
A full UK driving licence; ideally with no more than six penalty points.
