The incumbent will work across our C#/.NET codebase and wider technology stack, taking ownership of technical design whilst remaining actively involved in implementation throughout the software development lifecycle. Our platform is hosted within Microsoft Azure, uses Cosmos DB and PostgreSQL for data storage, and is complemented by a Vue.js and TypeScript front end. Modern AI‑assisted software development and agentic coding tools are used throughout our engineering workflows to support software design, development and productivity.

- Providing operational support for Azure cloud services, including App Services, deployment pipelines (CI/CD), and Azure Front Door
- Being a competent, active, engaged and willing member of our development team
- Keeping up to date with developments and changes in the field of software development and AI, as well as the tools and techniques used
What skills, experience and qualities are we looking for?
- C# – strong knowledge required
- Experience designing scalable, maintainable and high‑performance software systems
- Microsoft (.NET) technical stack
- Strong proficiency using AI‑assisted software development tools and agentic coding workflows
- Git‑based version control and Azure DevOps knowledge desired
- Microsoft Azure infrastructure and CI/CD knowledge desired
- Database experience required
- Familiarity with Agile development environments and code review practices
You will be comfortable working as part of a team, have an enthusiasm for providing an excellent user experience and keen to learn new skills on the job. As well as being a good communicator with the ability to discuss technical matters in non‑technical language.
