As a Business Analyst, you act as the bridge between Management, Engineering, and internal/external stakeholders. Your responsibility is to understand business and functional needs, analyse requirements, and translate them into precise specifications that guide development.
The Team: Join BlackRock’s Aladdin eFront Engineering team, supporting the eFront Invest ecosystem used across the private markets industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end requirements analysis (use cases, data mapping).
- Produce clear functional specifications, acceptance criteria, and process documentation.
- Coordinate and organise cross-functional discussions, driving alignment across stakeholders.
- Demonstrate a relentless focus on execution, driving workstreams to completion and ensuring outcomes are delivered on time.
- Take full ownership of end-to-end delivery, applying exceptional attention to detail and a strong bias toward action.
- Support backlog refinement, QA alignment, and design discussions with Engineering.
- Validate delivered features, contribute to test scenarios, and support post-release follow-up.
- Communicate with stakeholders and contribute to user guides, release notes, and operational documentation.
About You:
- 7+ years’ experience in Business Analysis, functional design, or systems analysis.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to translate business needs into precise functional requirements.
- Comfortable working in agile environments; detail-oriented with strong communication skills.
- Knowledge of private markets or financial systems is a strong advantage.

Qualifications:
- Degree in Engineering, Economics, Mathematics, Organizational Sciences, or equivalent experience.
