About the role: Senior Operations Manager for the Pensions Administration team at Barnett Waddingham. Full‑time, permanent, hybrid role based in London, Liverpool, Leeds, Guildford, Cheltenham, Bristol, Birmingham or Amersham.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee day‑to‑day operation of the Pension Administration Change Team services and act as line manager for Project Managers, Business Analysts and Project Support roles.
- Manage, organise and motivate the team to provide a quality service, ensuring service standards are met and control procedures are followed.
- Play a significant role in short‑to‑medium‑term planning; adapt plans and priorities to address resource issues and operational challenges, considering wider change deliverables and managing expectations.
- Contribute to long‑term planning of resourcing and system developments to align with future change needs and support business development opportunities.
- Identify and provide solutions to complex problems.
- Manage operational issues and conflicts, remove barriers, communicate with stakeholders and escalate when required.
Qualifications:
- Financial services experience is essential.
- Appropriate Change Management qualification (e.g. Lean, Six Sigma, Agile).
- Change delivery expertise.
- Strong leadership capabilities and strong communication skills.
