Role purpose
The Senior Marketing Manager will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing business to business strategic marketing initiatives. The focus will be on creating and delivering targeted B2B marketing campaigns that drive new business opportunities. Reporting to the Head of Brand & Marketing and working closely with Corporate Affairs/PR, this role will collaborate with senior business stakeholders along with external media partners & agencies to produce high-quality, multi-channel campaigns and content. These efforts will enhance brand awareness, strengthen market positioning, and generate demand primarily within the UK Pension Risk Market (PRT).
Specific accountabilities
- Lead and deliver B2B marketing campaigns, aligned with business strategy and commercial goals.
- Partner with Business Development and Investment teams to identify market-specific opportunities and lead the creation and delivery of integrated multi-channel campaigns to increase brand awareness and drive new business opportunities.
- Act as a subject matter expert advising internal stakeholders on go to market strategies and set up and oversee key account-based marketing initiatives (ABM) to target specific new and existing scheme accounts.
- Measure and analyse campaign performance, using insights to optimise future activity.
- Effectively collaborate with Head of Digital Marketing Operations and Corporate Affairs/PR to manage digital presence including developing web content, social media management, email marketing and executing paid social media campaigns.
- Manage content and media partnerships producing high quality research-based reports and related insight content.
- Working closely with Senior Event Manager, own and execute webinars and roundtables to enhance brand visibility and client engagement.
- Own and deliver on-demand video programme and produce tender/bid materials including video, pitch documents and related assets.
- Act as a guardian of the brand, ensuring consistency across all marketing channels.

- Understanding of financial services and insurance industries.
- Takes ownership for their ongoing learning and development in both technical (e.g. campaign management) and non-technical (self-insight and relationship management) skills.
- Keeps informed of industry trends, market developments, regulatory changes as well as best practice marketing performance.

- Familiarity with the latest marketing tools and technologies.
- Works in accordance with plans and priorities set by the business, delivering to agreed deadlines.

Experience
- Educated to degree level.
- Extensive experience in B2B Marketing ideally within financial and/or professional services.
- Proven experience in developing and executing successful marketing communications campaigns.
- Experience of setting up and delivering account-based marketing campaigns.
- Proven success in revenue generating multi-channel campaigns and client-centric marketing.
- Expertise in setting up and using marketing automation systems useful (e.g. Microsoft Dynamics 365).
