Position Overview

Reporting to the Head of Benelux & Nordics, the successful candidate will play a leading role growing the firm’s relationships with large allocators across institutional and wealth management firms in the Nordic region. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining relationships with existing clients as well as growing PIMCO’s asset base across the region. This role will involve close collaboration with the Head of Benelux & Nordics as well as other senior stakeholders at the firm, driving growth across PIMCO’s full suite of products (including fixed income, private markets, hedge funds and real estate).

Responsibilities:

  • Build and deepen strategic relationships with clients in the region, acting as a trusted advisor to drive business growth, enhance client engagement, and deliver tailored investment solutions that meet evolving client needs.
  • Promote PIMCO’s full range of products to external clients through presentations and client meetings.
  • Work in partnership with marketing, sales support, PSG and portfolio managers to ensure comprehensive, consistent and impactful coverage of the target market.
  • Maintain client records and establish longstanding on-going relationships with clients and prospective clients.
  • Provide an outstanding client experience through a focus on client needs at all times in line with the Company’s TCF policy.

Desired candidates should possess the following characteristics:

  • Minimum 7 years of work experience in asset management with client coverage in the Nordics region.
  • Deep knowledge of the Nordic market with an existing network of clients.
  • Fluency in one or more Nordic language required.
  • Strong knowledge of investments and financial markets, especially in fixed income & alternatives.
  • Ability to articulate ideas/strategies clearly, both verbally and in writing.
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills and ability to develop client relationships into strategic partnerships.
  • CFA / MBA qualification desirable, IMC / undergraduate degree minimum requirement.
  • Strong work ethic – enjoys working at pace, self‑motivated, happy to be given a high level of autonomy, be accountable for actions and able to operate in a team environment.
  • London based with extensive travel to the Nordic region.
