Your opportunity:

  • Perform oversight and controls over the operational aspects of the private credit funds operated by Janus Henderson (JHI) and administered by a third‑party administrator. Includes but not limited to review of the quarterly accounting and Net Asset Value (NAV) information, expense control and payment (including management fee and carried interest), investor statements for calls and distributions, financial statements coordination with administrator and audit team.
  • Perform oversight and controls over the operational aspects of a crypto/blockchain focused private fund operated by Janus Henderson (JHI) and administered by a third‑party administrator. Includes but not limited to review of the quarterly accounting and Net Asset Value (NAV) information, expense control and payment, investor statements for investors, financial statements coordination with administrator and audit team.
  • Operate as main contact in respect of those funds for the fund management team to support completion of transactions, client commitments and board resolutions.
  • Perform financial reporting and operational oversight of the Cayman and Delaware hedge fund range, in support of the wider fund administration oversight team for alternative funds at JHI. Tasks include financial statements coordination with administrator and audit team.
  • Carry out other duties as assigned.

Must have skills:

  • Private Credit operational experience critical as we look to fill a skills gap
  • Extensive Fund Accounting and Fund Financial Reporting experience
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to establish good working relationships with Stakeholders
  • Analytical, problem solving and critical thinking skills
  • Enthusiastic, approachable and able to work well across team
  • Ability to work independently and take responsibility of tasks and actions
  • Good working knowledge of Excel
  • Ability to work with Copilot and embrace opportunities to embed AI within operating models

Nice to have skills:

  • ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualification
  • Experience of role overseeing third party provider
