The EMEA Real Estate team comprises 70 investment professionals located in 6 offices across the region providing a uniquely local real estate team, within a global asset manager. The team is headquartered in London and supported by numerous dedicated business partners including Legal, Compliance, Tax, Finance, Operations, Sustainability and Product Strategy & Research.

Description/Job Purpose

We are seeking a highly motivated Asset & Investment Manager to join our growing team. This role offers the opportunity to work across the full investment lifecycle—acquisition, value creation, and asset management—within a dynamic UK real estate fund. You will play a key role in driving performance and delivering superior returns through strategic asset management and investment execution. This role demands strong commercial acumen, rigorous attention to detail, a strong team ethic and a passion to drive performance. Prior real estate experience in asset/investment management or a property related post with a thorough understanding of property fundamentals and financial modelling is essential.

Investment Analysis & Execution

  • Support sourcing and underwriting of new acquisitions across multiple sectors.
  • Prepare detailed financial models, sensitivity analyses, and investment committee papers.
  • Assist in due diligence, transaction structuring, and deal closing.

Asset Management

  • Develop and implement asset-level business plans, across multiple asset classes, to maximize value.
  • Monitor performance against budgets and KPIs; identify opportunities for operational improvements.
  • Manage leasing strategies, tenant relationships, and capex projects.
  • Identify and execute initiatives to enhance income and capital value.
  • Enhance portfolio sustainability credentials.
  • Collaborate with property managers, leasing agents, and external consultants.

Investment Modelling

  • Develop cash flow models and conduct quantitative and qualitative analysis for forecasting returns across investment, development and regeneration projects.
  • Prepare and maintain investment models ensuring accuracy (including leveraged vehicles), monitor investment outcomes, support project reviews, and conduct hold/sell analysis.
  • Create and monitor multi-phase development appraisals, research key market data to support underwriting assumptions.
  • Leverage AI and machine learning to deliver efficiency gains and new insights.

Skills / Experience

  • Bachelor's degree minimum.
  • Professional qualifications such as MRICS, CFA, or CAIA highly desirable.
  • Previous exposure to multiple asset classes preferred.
  • Minimum 3-5 years in real estate investment, asset management, or related field.
  • Strong understanding of real estate markets, valuation methodologies, cashflow modelling (Excel and Argus), and deal structuring required.
  • Understanding of UK property markets and key value drivers.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven ability to prepare high-quality materials and present to senior stakeholders.
  • Detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
  • Strong team player, comfortable working collaboratively across functions and geographies.
