Enterprise Data Architect London (4 days onsite 1 working from home) Up to 120,000 + Benefits I'm working with an organisation investing heavily in its data capability and looking to appoint an experienced Enterprise Data Architect to lead the design and evolution of its enterprise-wide data landscape.
This is a senior strategic position where you'll work closely with technology and business leaders to shape data architecture, define standards and ensure the organisation has a scalable, secure and future-ready data platform.
You'll play a key role in modernising existing data environments, designing cloud-based solutions and driving best practice across data governance, modelling and analytics.
Key responsibilities Define and develop the enterprise data architecture strategy.
Design scalable data warehouse, lakehouse and cloud data solutions.
Establish data governance, quality and architectural standards.
Work closely with senior stakeholders to align technology with business objectives.
Lead architecture decisions across data platforms, integration and analytics.
Identify opportunities to simplify existing platforms while improving scalability and performance.
Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend improvements to the wider data estate.
What we're looking for Extensive experience in Enterprise Data Architecture or a similar strategic data leadership role.
Strong background designing enterprise-scale cloud data platforms.
Experience with Azure, Databricks and modern data architecture principles.
Strong understanding of data modelling, governance and data quality frameworks.
Experience delivering large-scale data transformation initiatives.
Knowledge of technologies such as SQL, Py Spark, Snowflake, Kafka and modern BI platforms including Power BI or Tableau.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence senior technical and business stakeholders.
