12 Month Maternity Leave Cover Opportunity

Lead the Janus Henderson Control Room for EMEA acting as the initial receiver of market sounding opportunities. Responsible for ensuring the receipt of inside information is handled in line with regulatory expectation. Liaise with Portfolio Managers on wall crossing opportunities. Undertake Market Abuse advisory activities such as reviewing regulatory updates and considering the impact on Janus Henderson. Carry out other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • A detailed understanding of market abuse regulations and market sounding regulatory guidance
  • An ability to assess Inside Information and make risk-based decisions
  • Experience in a control room setting or trade surveillance team at an investment firm
  • An ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Strong interpersonal skills to manage key stakeholders such as Portfolio Managers
  • A strong eye for detail

Nice to have skills:

  • Previous experience with My Compliance Office
  • Previous experience with Charles River as an order management system
