Client Reporting Analyst Summary

An opportunity to join the Client Reporting team and play a hands‑on role in automating and modernising the production of marketing materials and factsheets. The role will involve working with new automation tools and technologies, with scope to take ownership of processes and drive efficiency improvements. You will also assist with managing the outsourcing of factsheets and standard marketing materials. This is an excellent opportunity for a junior candidate to gain broad exposure to the asset‑management industry, develop technical skills, and work closely with senior stakeholders across the firm. This is a 12‑month fixed‑term contract.

Responsibilities

  • Drive the automation and production of fund & strategy marketing decks, primarily using Seismic software, working closely with the Investment Services Presentation team.
  • Support the Investment Analytics team with the automation and enhancement of client reporting tools.
  • Proactively learn and adopt new automation tools, coding languages, and technologies as the team evolves its tech stack.
  • Take responsibility for the production and outsourcing of factsheets, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.
  • Assist with the expansion of marketing materials including wealth presentations, PIDs, corporate brochures, team biographies, and standard reporting as needed.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of new or changed regulatory requirements when needed.
  • Assist with the development and implementation of product launches when needed.
  • Build effective working relationships across the firm, including with portfolio managers, sales, marketing, compliance, and operations.
  • Collaborate with colleagues across departments to resolve client and product marketing issues.

Skills and Experience

Technical
  • Familiarity with at least one programming or scripting language (e.g. SQL, Python, VBA) — or a demonstrable willingness and aptitude to learn.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with automation or data tooling is a plus but not essential.
Industry Knowledge
  • Some exposure to financial services or asset management is desirable, but not essential for candidates who can demonstrate a strong interest in the industry and a willingness to learn.
  • An interest in financial markets, performance measurement, and the asset‑management/hedge fund industry.
  • Ability to quickly learn strategies, markets, statistics, and legal and compliance frameworks.
Mindset & Soft Skills
  • Self‑starter mentality — comfortable working independently and taking initiative.
  • Curious and adaptable, with a genuine enthusiasm for learning new tools and technologies.
  • Comfortable with change and ambiguity in a fast‑moving environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail, particularly given the client‑facing nature of the materials produced.
