The Investment Services team is responsible for providing high quality support to Man's client base around the globe. The team performs a wide range of duties including handling client inquiries, preparing marketing materials and DDQs/RFPs, and compiling client reports. As such, the team plays a vital role in all aspects and stages of the client experience and is fundamental to the ongoing and future success of the firm’s business.

Overall responsibility for writing marketing and questionnaire material for Man's Solutions area in a compelling and consistent manner. These materials will need to be prepared on a regular basis for use with Man's institutional client base.

Based in London, the role will involve working closely with both senior portfolio management and sales personnel in Man's Riverbank House offices and across the globe.

Responsibilities

  • Write, develop and deliver the full range of marketing collateral, making use of close proximity to Man's Solutions teams in London and New York.
  • Work closely with Sales, Portfolio Management and key stakeholders across the business to write bespoke RFP/DDQ content and presentations of the highest quality. Ensure that the latest fund research, analysis and messaging is incorporated.
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with senior sales/portfolio managers/key stakeholders.
  • Edit, produce and update investor communications on specific market events.
  • Identify opportunities and initiate projects where Investment Services can add value for the portfolio manager, sales force and wider business.
  • Translate complex investment ideas and data into a logical and visually engaging format.

Technical Competencies

  • Degree level education in a relevant discipline required. Financial qualification preferred although not essential.
  • At least 2 years' experience within the industry and a solid understanding of the financial landscape investment management / hedge fund space.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Proficient in understanding institutional client expectations and requirements.
  • Ability to develop strong-working relationships with stakeholders across the firm and embrace engaging with these individuals.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills. Ability to prioritise work effectively.
  • Strong analytical ability with excellent attention to detail / accuracy.
  • Effective communication with diverse set of key internal stakeholders.
  • Team-oriented mind-set to support your colleagues, as well as experience working independently.
  • Proficient user of Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Planner) and internal systems relevant to the role.
