About the Programme: Our Technology Foundation Programme invites you to explore three teams working with C#/ .NET over a two-year period. Successful applicants will have the opportunity to build new functionality and improve the scalability of the Technology platform that powers Man Group. You will work on solutions in areas such as order management, trade settlement, risk management, fund accounting and client reporting. You'll tackle impactful projects, receive formal training, gain mentorship from senior leaders and develop a thorough understanding of our business. Upon successfully completing the programme, you’ll be well-positioned to build a long-term career at Man Group.
Who are we looking for? Join us as an Associate Engineer and you’ll be part of a team that builds and runs the platform powering Man's hedge funds.
- Key skills & experiences:
- Good knowledge of C# or other .NET languages
- Your technical experience may have been gained as a recent graduate or currently studying for a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics or related discipline, through working on open-source projects or from 1-2 years of relevant industry experience
- Understanding of how source control and continuous deployment workflows work with tools like git
- Self-organised with the ability to prioritise and effectively manage time across multiple projects
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Exceptional troubleshooting skills
- Self-starter with a desire to learn and understand more about the business environment in which you work
