Investment Specialists Apprentice

The Solutions Investment Specialists team is responsible for providing high quality support to Man’s client base globally. The team performs a wide range of duties including handling client queries, assisting in pitch presentations, marketing materials, DDQs/RFPs and reporting. As such the team plays a vital role in all aspects and stages of the client experience provided by the business and is fundamental to the firm’s on‑going and future success.

Responsibilities

• Support the Solutions Investment Specialists team in delivering the full range of investment collateral, making use of close proximity to the Solutions Portfolio Management, CPM and Sales teams.
• Work closely with Investment Specialists to create bespoke decks for custom mandates on behalf of the Solutions Portfolio Management and CPM teams.
• Manage the timely completion of RFP and DDQs to the highest quality, coordinating responses with key stakeholders across the business.
• Ensure that the latest fund research, analysis and messaging is incorporated.
• Establish and maintain deep and credible relationships with CPMs, Portfolio Management and key stakeholders across the business so as to ensure content is of the highest quality.
• Identify opportunities and initiate projects where Investment Specialists can add value for the portfolio manager, sales force and wider business.
• Translate complex investment ideas and data into a logical and visually engaging format.
• Involvement in a variety of client focused projects.

• Proficient in understanding institutional / retail client expectations and requirements.
