Are you a seasoned People Business Partner/HRBP with a background working in corporate environments, particularly within insurance or financial services? Do you want to collaborate with senior leaders and influence the people agenda? Look no further! We are seeking a versatile HRBP / People Partner to join our team in London. In this role, you will be a key player in our people organisation, as a trusted partner driving and delivering the people strategy. This is a hybrid role based in London with the flexibility to work virtually at home and in office.

What the day will look like

As a People Partner, your role spans across the range of HR specialisms supported by centres of excellence enabling you to partner your clients effectively with day-to-day matters and short and long term strategy. There is no such thing as a typical day in HR, but this role will have the opportunity to support and influence Senior Leaders on change management, engagement, talent management, resourcing strategies, reward, and inclusion and diversity. The role aims to educate, coach and engage the leaders to drive positive change for the business area. This role will involve strong collaboration with leaders, HR and wider stakeholders, the people agenda is a core focus for many of our leaders and therefore this role provides a real opportunity to make a difference.

You will be supported by the People Director, and the wider team who will be able to guide you and provide opportunity to develop. The role of the HR Business Partner is supported by the Centres of Excellence which means you have expert advice to support you in your decision making and recommendations to the business.

Skills and experience that will lead to success

  • A proven background in partnering at a senior level (client-facing roles preferred) in a corporate environment - ideally within Insurance or financial services environment.
  • Possess strong financial and business acumen.
  • Excellent analytical and project management skills.
  • Ability to collaborate to the entire People Portfolio with an integrated perspective.
  • Demonstrated ability to consult, influence and partner with senior leaders in developing/implementing People strategies to drive business performance.
  • Experience in managing complex People and financial projects.
  • Ability to consult on application of policy and process as well as trends, themes, and solutions.
