We have an exciting opportunity for a Proposition Manager to join our SIPP team. The SIPP Business Area provides administration and trusteeship services to over 100,000 self-invested personal pension arrangements for members, both advised and non-advised, and has an ambitious plan to grow our customer base. This role can be based in our Cheltenham or Glasgow offices working on a hybrid basis.
Responsibilities:
- Supporting the Head of SIPP Propositions in their delivery of Consumer Duty accountabilities, covering Consumer Duty outcomes for ‘Products and Services’, ‘Price and Value’ and ‘Consumer Understanding’.
- Ensure existing and new propositions are designed and managed to meet the needs and objectives of customers within identified target markets, and that suitable proposition governance and processes and controls are maintained.
- Develop and implement appropriate Investment Solutions to support BW and its key business partners, ensuring full integration with Proposition and Customer journeys.
- Ensure appropriate Investment Governance and Oversight model is implemented and maintained for all Investment Solutions.
- Maintaining an up-to-date awareness of changes to key competitor offerings and developments in the SIPP market, ensuring these are communicated to internal stakeholders.
- Proactively keep up to date with FCA, DWP and HMRC changes, assessing the impact of changes and ensuring there is clear internal and external communication on the impact, providing training as needed.
- Take ownership to resolve proposition and technical queries and support the Technical Committee with resolution of complex case referrals.
Qualifications:
- Thorough knowledge of HMRC and FCA rules as they apply to SIPPs.
- Knowledge of the SIPP and SSAS marketplace is essential.
- Knowledge of the wider pensions market is desirable.
- Experience in developing and managing pension products and delivering to market in line with the business plan.
- Self-starter, highly organised and able to work well with colleagues at all levels in the organisation.
- Confident presenter and strong interpersonal skills are essential.
- Strong interpersonal skills including the ability to influence upwards, support complex projects and plan for the longer term.
