Man Group is seeking a driven and ambitious Client Operations Apprentice to join our Client Operations team in London. This is an excellent opportunity for someone eager to build a career in asset management operations. The team sits at the heart of Man Group's investor flows oversight, acting as a central hub across our investment engines — giving you broad exposure to fund operations, risk management, and operational controls from day one.

Responsibilities

  • Become proficient in the team's core systems, using them effectively to support daily operations
  • Support oversight of Service Provider and Transfer Agency processes and procedures
  • Contribute to the reconciliation of capital flows, ensuring accurate and timely reporting while maintaining data integrity
  • Develop a strong understanding of the operating model and key controls, proactively identifying improvement opportunities and collaborating on their implementation
  • Assist in managing client queries and cases through Salesforce
  • Build and maintain relationships across global teams including Sales, Middle Office, Front Office, and Senior Management

Qualifications

  • Strong academic record
  • Enthusiasm and genuine eagerness to learn
  • Self-motivated and diligent, with strong attention to detail
  • Clear and confident communicator — written and verbal
  • Takes ownership and accountability for assigned tasks
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office; intermediate Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, reconciliation formulas, handling large datasets)
  • Adaptable and willing to learn new systems and processes

Additional Requirements

  • The right to work in the UK
  • To have lived in the UK or EEA continuously for the past 3 years
  • Not to have previously studied the course content
  • Not to undertake any other qualification during your apprenticeship
  • To be able to apply your learning to your role

  • Level 4 Investment Operations Specialist with IMC

Duration

  • 15-month programme (12-month training, 3-month apprenticeship assessment)
