We have a great opportunity for a Senior Consulting Actuary to join our Insurance and Longevity Consulting (ILC) team. This is a permanent role based in our central London office working on a hybrid basis.

Snapshot of your day:

  • The role will primarily focus on supporting our clients in the internal model validation and capital modelling space.
  • You will be responsible for managing the General Insurance team as well as helping drive business development and growth.
  • You will be part of the ILC management team.
  • Effectively communicating with stakeholders both internally and externally as well as with regulators.
  • Familiar with the required regulations for capital modelling and validation under Lloyd’s.
  • Keeping up with the latest trends and development in the market.
  • Implementing the strategy of the team.

We would love to hear from you if you have:

  • Qualified actuary with experience in General Insurance.
  • Experience of internal model validation within the Lloyd’s market.
  • Hands on experience in capital modelling, R and/or Python would be advantageous as would any experience of validating internal models outside of the Lloyd’s market.
  • Networking experience and confident in speaking at internal and external events.
  • Highly organised – you have the ability to work on multiple clients and tasks and meet deadlines.
