We are delivering a strategic Programme to develop a new Self‑Invested Personal Pension (SIPP) platform and migrate existing clients from a legacy system. This initiative is critical to enhancing our client experience, improving operational efficiency, and ensuring regulatory compliance.
We are seeking an experienced PMO Programme Coordinator to define, establish and lead the PMO function, supporting both the Programme and the broader SIPP change portfolio. This is a permanent role that is based in our Cheltenham office working on a hybrid basis.
Responsibilities
- Lead and shape the PMO function, defining standards, governance, and ways of working
- Own Programme governance, including forums, reporting, and decision‑making processes
- Provide oversight and control of risks, issues, dependencies, and change
- Deliver high‑quality reporting and insight to support senior decision‑making
- Manage resource and financial tracking across the Programme
- Engage stakeholders to ensure alignment across the Programme and wider SIPP business
- Drive continuous improvement of PMO capability, tools, and processes
Qualifications
- Proven experience leading or managing a PMO within complex transformation programmes
- Strong knowledge of PMO frameworks, governance and delivery methodologies
- Familiarity with project management methodologies (e.g., PRINCE2, Agile)
- Excellent organisational and communication skills
- Strong understanding of programme controls (RAID, planning, financials, resourcing)
- Experience in financial services or pensions (SIPP highly desirable)
