Overview
Contract Type: Permanent | Full Time
Location: Bradford, Chatham, Petersfield and London
Working Pattern: Hybrid (usually a couple of days a week in the office). We welcome part-time and flexible arrangements and will aim to match your current flexibility where possible. Please be aware that this is a field-based role, as such travel will be required across the UK.

The Role
As a Key Account Manager, you’ll be a key part of our National Sales team, representing Vanquis within our highest-performing introducers. Working closely with colleagues across the business, you’ll oversee the full loan life cycle, share insights that drive commercial decisions, and strengthen long-term partnerships.
You and your Team
You’ll support the National Sales Manager in delivering team strategies, grow existing and new introducers, and lead improvements that help us continually enhance our service. This field-based role gives you the autonomy to build influential relationships and directly contribute to the team’s performance and growth.
As a Key Account Manager, you will:
- Manage our Vehicle Finance key accounts.
- Be able to manage all aspects of the loan in order to share analytic data back to the introducers to drive product, risk and pricing.
- Provide direct support to the National Sales Manager in order to achieve overall team strategies.
- Play an integral part in generating new relationships that will turn into long lasting relationships.
- Complete regular account reviews and quarterly strategic reviews to deliver against your targets and build a partnership relationship with each introducer.
- Regularly update senior managers of progress or areas of concern.
- Manage a portfolio of introducers, ensuring they achieve their volume and performance potential.
- Adhere to the FCA conduct rules.
- Constantly drive improvements by taking the lead with wider business projects.
What We’re Looking For
Essential:
- Proven experience as an Account Manager.
- Motor sector experience.
- Experience operating in a highly regulated environment.
- Ability in problem-solving and negotiation.
- Financial Services sector experience.

- Formal Sales qualifications.
