We have an exciting new opportunity for a Team Technical Lead to join our growing Pension Administration team. This is a permanent, full time role that can be based in our Birmingham, Cheltenham or Bristol office, working on a hybrid basis.

Responsibilities

  • Liaise with specialist teams with regards to complex technical matters that specifically relate to their Scheme and/or member(s) of their Scheme; providing advice, support and expertise where required.
  • Attend client meetings where technical input is required.
  • Provide support to Client teams on technical matters, as required.
  • Deal directly with individual members to support the team to provide information or resolve issues.
  • Contribute to and/or produce client reports where technical input is required.
  • Peer review complex member or scheme event calculations for ongoing administration team.
  • Provide technical input and peer review to client projects where required.
  • Provide support to ongoing administration team through ad hoc query resolution and training.

Qualifications

  • Maths and English GCSE (or equivalent) at Grade C / 5 as a minimum.
  • Be able to communicate complex technical matters at a level appropriate to the recipient, exercising tact and diplomacy, where necessary.
  • Good knowledge of pension’s law.
  • Detailed knowledge of complex pension calculations.
  • Associate of Pensions Management Institute (or equivalent) is preferred but not essential.
