We have an exciting permanent opportunity for an Actuarial Technician to join the Actuarial Projects team in any of our offices (hybrid working) and play a key role within the Actuarial Consulting team. Within our Actuarial Projects Team, current work is focused on GMP projects (including both rectification and equalisation) alongside other benefit rectification work. This role will involve working across multiple projects simultaneously, performing and checking calculations, maintaining robust audit trails, and collaborating closely with senior reviewers to deliver high-quality work within agreed timelines.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality actuarial work across multiple projects, taking ownership of tasks and meeting agreed deadlines.
  • Perform and check actuarial calculations, applying judgement to assess accuracy and reasonableness.
  • Maintain clear and robust audit trails, ensuring compliance with actuarial standards and project requirements.
  • Collaborate closely with senior team members and project leads to deliver work efficiently and to a high standard.
  • Support and mentor junior colleagues, contributing to their development and the wider team environment.
  • Assist with data validation, report drafting and maintaining project documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
