Sitting within the wider Sales & Marketing group, the Data & Distribution team supports the delivery of fund data (dynamic and static) to external and internal data platforms and clients. The team is also responsible for UCITS KID/KIID production, MiFID II Costs & Charges, European investor tax reporting, consultant databases and bespoke client reporting. This is an excellent entry-level opportunity for a well‑motivated graduate to learn Costs and Charges calculations and reporting, while also supporting the wider activities of the team such as Consultant Database management and bespoke client reporting.

The role offers the chance to build expertise in transaction cost analysis and global regulatory reporting from the ground up, develop an understanding of the common standards and methodologies used across the asset management industry, gain knowledge across different asset classes and investment products, and work closely with operational and sales teams across the regions. This is a 12‑month fixed term contract.

Responsibilities

  • Support the production of transaction cost calculations and reporting, covering global regulatory requirements
  • Help ensure compliance with MiFID II regulatory reporting requirements, including transaction costs and charges
  • Check and validate large datasets, spot trends, and report exceptions on Costs and Charges data
  • Analyse data changes and help present findings to key stakeholders
  • Build strong working relationships with stakeholders involved in Costs and Charges and distribution activities across the business
  • Support project initiatives related to Costs and Charges (e.g. TCA provider change)
  • Support third‑party data providers to ensure efficient product data supply
  • Support wider project initiatives within the Data & Distribution team (e.g. consultant database operating model)
  • Support other Data & Distribution activities as and when required, such as data automation and price feeds, consultant database management and bespoke client reporting

Key Skills & Experience

  • Recent graduate (or equivalent), with a strong academic record; no prior industry experience required
  • A numerical or analytical mindset, with confidence working with numbers and an interest in data
  • Good attention to detail and a methodical, accurate approach to working with large datasets
  • Keen interest in financial markets and a desire to build strong knowledge of investment management, funds and the alternative investment management industry
  • Comfortable with Excel and keen to develop further data and analytical skills
  • Genuine interest in learning about Costs & Charges, transaction cost analysis (TCA) and regulatory reporting
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build constructive working relationships across teams
  • Highly motivated self‑starter, willing to take on responsibility and ownership and to see tasks through to completion (often to tight deadlines)
  • Demonstrates enthusiasm, a willingness to learn and a passion for delivery
