What will you be doing?
The Principal will work out of LG's London office, supporting the Partners across the team. Motivated and enthusiastic self-starter who works on own initiative with light supervision. Confident and positive, high-energy, cultured, capable of easily interacting with senior management. Flexible and willing to get involved in many different aspects of the business as required. What you’ll do:
- Build and nurture a powerful network across Europe’s deep tech and AI landscape.
- Identify, evaluate, and lead high-potential investment opportunities.
- Work with founders and portfolio teams to help them scale and succeed.
- Represent us externally – from conferences and panels to private roundtables and one-on-one conversations.
- Bring sharp insight and conviction to internal debates and investment committees.
Preferred education/qualification:
- Undergraduate degree required.
- Preferred majors include the following: Economics, Engineering, Exact Sciences, Computer Science, Finance, Business, and Entrepreneurship.
- Relevant years of investment experience (VC/PE, corporate IR, investment banking, private equity).
SKILLS & ABILITIES:
- Outstanding analytical skills, detail-oriented, proactive and self-motivated.
- Strong knowledge of Excel.
- Experience with cash flow modeling and investment valuation techniques.
- Ability to produce well-designed professional looking PowerPoint presentations.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
