LGP Consultancy LTD are currently recruiting on behalf of a client for 2 experienced Shuttering Joiners to join a long-term project at Pilmoor Substation in York.
This is an excellent opportunity for experienced Formwork/Shuttering Joiners looking for consistent work through to Christmas.

- Working Hours
- Monday–Thursday: 07:30–17:30
- Paid 10-hour shifts per day
Duties & Responsibilities
The successful candidates will be responsible for carrying out shuttering and formwork duties on a substation construction project. Duties will include:
- Setting out and constructing timber/formwork shuttering.
- Installing and dismantling formwork systems.
- Working from drawings and specifications.
- Preparing formwork for concrete pours.
- Ensuring shuttering is securely positioned and constructed to the required specification.
- Working safely around other site trades and construction teams.
- Maintaining a high standard of workmanship and site safety.
- Following site procedures and instructions from the Site Management team.
Requirements
Applicants must have
- CSCS Level 2 Formwork Joiner – Blue Card or relevant equivalent.
- Proven experience working as a Shuttering Joiner / Formwork Joiner.
- Relevant construction/site experience.
- Good understanding of formwork and shuttering practices.
- Ability to work as part of a site team.
- Good commitment and reliability for the duration of the project.
National Grid BESC is NOT required for this position.
