A fantastic opportunity has arisen for 4 experienced Pipefitters to join a well-established M&E contractor on a busy school refurbishment project in St Helens.
This is an excellent opportunity to secure a consistent Monday to Friday working week on a straightforward mechanical installation project, with the potential for follow-on work on future projects for reliable operatives.
The RoleWorking as part of an experienced mechanical installation team, you'll be responsible for installing push-fit pipework throughout an occupied educational environment, ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard. The project has been well programmed, with all materials on site ready for installation.
Scope of WorksThe role will include:
- Installation of push-fit pipework.
- Mechanical pipework installation within a school environment.
- Reading and working from mechanical drawings where required.
- Working alongside other mechanical trades.
- Maintaining high standards of workmanship and health & safety.
- Assisting with testing and snagging where necessary.
To be considered for this role you must have:
- Valid CSCS or JIB Card.
- Previous pipefitting experience on commercial or public sector projects.
- Own tools and full PPE.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A reliable and professional approach to work.
- £26.00 per hour.
- Monday to Friday working week.
- Between 40 and 45 hours per week, depending on site requirements.
