My client is a leading design and manufacturer operating globally delivering innovative solutions and components to the plastics and textiles industries. The company has a rich history and is well established, being at the forefront for the past 50 years. Due to continued and sustained growth they are looking to add a Product Design Engineer to the team.
Responsibilities:
- Conceptual design, as well as development of current product portfolio
- Cradle to grave design, from initial concept, to prototype, test, production samples and final approved component
- FEA Analysis
- Part, assembly, and detailed manufacturing drawings
- BoM creation
Qualifications:
- Have 3 years+ with similar experience (Injection Moulded Plastics/Sheet Metal/Extrusion Profile Design)
- Degree qualified within Engineering or Product Design
- Knowledge of drafting standards (GD)
