The Opportunity
We are looking for a Webmaster to join our dynamic Online Brand Store (OBS) Team at LG Electronics Weybridge.
This role will be responsible for managing, maintaining, and optimizing our online brand store to ensure a seamless and engaging customer experience.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of CMS management, website operations, technical SEO execution, UX optimization, and e-commerce merchandising.
Your Role & Responsibilities
Website Management & Optimization
- Manage daily website operations, including product listings, content updates, and promotional activations.
- Maintain website accuracy and consistency in alignment with LG.com brand and global standards.
- Optimize site navigation, UX/UI design, and performance to enhance customer journey and conversion.
- Monitor and report website performance (traffic, conversion, bounce rate, etc.) using analytics tools.
Content & CMS Operations
- Oversee CMS (Content Management System) operations including product uploads, banners, and content pages.
- Ensure content accuracy, timely updates, and compliance with LG brand guidelines.
- Collaborate with internal and external teams to implement design and functional updates.
Technical SEO Execution
- Conduct regular technical SEO audits to identify and fix crawl, indexation, and performance issues.
- Optimize site speed, metadata, structured data, and internal linking to improve organic visibility.
- Work closely with developers to implement SEO best practices across new and existing pages.
- Use SEO tools (e.g., Google Search Console, Screaming Frog, SEMrush) to monitor rankings and performance.
- Collaborate with marketing and content teams to align SEO with promotional and product launch strategies.
E-commerce & Merchandising Support
- Support merchandising activities such as product categorization, assortment management, and promotional setup.
- Coordinate product launches and campaign rollouts across the online store.
- Manage bundle offers, pricing, and special discount campaigns to maximize sales opportunities.
Cross-functional Collaboration
- Work closely with marketing, supply chain, and IT teams to ensure smooth website operation.
- Partner with developers to resolve technical issues and implement new features or improvements.
- Support campaign execution by integrating creative assets, tracking codes, and promotional content.
Analytics & Reporting
- Track and analyse key website metrics (traffic, conversion rate, user engagement, etc.) to identify improvement areas.
- Prepare weekly/monthly performance reports and share insights with stakeholders.
- Conduct A/B testing to improve user experience and conversion performance.
Skills, Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Digital Media, IT, or related field.
- 2+ years of experience in website management, e-commerce operations, or technical SEO.
- Hands-on experience with CMS platforms (e.g., Adobe Experience Manager, Magento, WordPress, etc.).
- Strong understanding of SEO, web analytics, and UX best practices.
- Excellent attention to detail, organization, and project management skills.
- Collaborative mindset with the ability to communicate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in consumer electronics or retail e-commerce.
- Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and basic web technologies.
- Knowledge of Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, and CRO tools.
