The Opportunity
This is a fantastic opportunity to join our Media Solutions (TV) Product Management Team as Assistant Product Manager (Intern). Our MS (TV) Product Management Team is responsible for the sales and distribution of HE products such as UHD TV, OLED TV, and NANO TVs into the UK market. Having Korean language speaking skills is essential for the role.
As an Assistant Product Manager (Intern) you will be tasked to understand and forecast on future business budget needs, analyse findings by conducting cost & benefit analyses, create suggestions & check the reasonability of payment, and communicate with the marketing team, including checking budget of marketing support. You will be responsible for managing sales programmes, which includes assisting with the organisation of the promotion details, assisting with the monthly sales programmes report, and monitoring the balance and current sales programme activities. Any other ad-hoc duties or responsibilities as requested by the line manager.
Your Role & Responsibilities
Sales Programme / Marketing Activities Funding Monitoring
- Share the product and market information with HQ, Sales team and other internal stakeholders, and provide UK business update to HQ
- Understand and forecast on future business budget needs
- Analyse findings by conducting cost & benefit analyses
- Create recommendations based on sound assessment of opportunities and risks and communicate them to management and stakeholders
- Check the reasonability of payment (evidence, agreement, stock date, sales out data, price, etc.)
- Regularly communicate with marketing team and check budget of marketing support
- Display allowance, A&P, rebate, SOA, price protection claim
- HQ strategic fund management
- Other Sales & Marketing activities support
HE(TV) Sales Programme Management System (SPMS) Request
- Management of HE(TV) Sales Programmes in SPMS
- Organise the promotion detail and period management
- Generate the monthly sales programmes report
- Organise the sales promotion monthly calendar
- Monitor the balance and current sales programme activity
- Support sales coordination to update old and new programmes
Regular Activities
- Daily: SPMS management (include charge back in sales and market activities), monitoring of daily sales progress
- Weekly: sales programme updated report, monitor & report weekly delivery plan
- Monthly: sales deduction report, charge back report, promotion calendar, month-end closing (issues related to P&L)
- Quarterly: marketing expense report, actual activities report
- Yearly: year report for sales programme, MKT activities, individual report, etc
