We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Bid Manager to join our collaborative and high-performing DC Bid team. This pivotal role sits within our Strategic Support Channel, with a primary focus on managing and maintaining research surveys and portals, completing industry surveys, and delivering quarterly investment performance updates. This work plays a vital role in maintaining L&G's presence on account panels and sustaining high ratings, which are essential for being considered in new business opportunities.
What you’ll be doing:
- Coordinating and updating research surveys
- Completing industry-wide surveys and ensuring timely, accurate submissions
- Preparing quarterly investment performance updates
- Managing client due diligence questionnaires in collaboration with subject matter experts across the business
- Supporting the Sales Team in preparing for research meetings and producing regular proposition updates for distribution to strategic accounts
While the core focus is on strategic related work, the Bid Manager may occasionally support the Client Opportunities channel during peak periods. This includes:
- Managing proposals for new and existing clients
- Ensuring submissions are compelling, accurate, and delivered on time
- Supporting follow-up queries, pitch preparation, site visits, and other new business activities
Qualifications
- Manage the full process of completing strategic account/industry-wide surveys including annual proposition updates and regular quarterly investment performance updates
- Manage client due diligence questionnaires in collaboration with subject matter experts across the business
- Support the Sales Team preparing for research meetings and producing regular proposition updates for distribution to strategic accounts
- Collaborate with the Content Manager to keep the central repository and standard procedure documents current
- Handling and implementing client pricing requests, including follow-up with non-strategic accounts
- Participate in process improvement initiatives to maintain high standards in service delivery, and create new materials to fill existing gaps
- Foster connections within the company and externally with a broad network of both investment and non-investment experts
- Consistently enhance your current understanding of the products and collaborate with other departments to refine written materials
