We are looking for a reliable and professional Class 2 Collection Driver to join our team at out Warrington Depot.

This role ensures ourpharmaceutical products are collected, handled, and transported safely within a regulated healthcare environment.

The Class 2 Collection Driver plays a key role within our pharmaceutical logistics operation, responsible for the safe, timely, and compliant collection of pharmaceutical products between depots and customer sites.

Working within a regulated GDP environment, the role ensures temperature-sensitive goods are handled, transported, and documented accurately to maintain product integrity at all times.

Role Details

15:00pm to 20:00pm - Monday to Friday, 25 hours per week.

Main Responsibilities

  • Carry out scheduled and ad-hoc collections of pharmaceutical products between depots and clients.
  • Operate vehicles safely and in full compliance with GDP (Good Distribution Practice), road transport, and Working Time regulations.
  • Conduct daily vehicle checks and ensure that all temperature-sensitive goods are handled and transported correctly.
  • Complete all relevant paperwork and electronic delivery records accurately and on time.
  • Communicate professionally with clients,
  • Load and unload vehicles safely, ensuring all goods are checked, accounted for, and handled in line with GDP standards.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organised environment always.
  • Report any discrepancies, damages, or temperature excursions immediately to the supervisor.

Experience

  • Proven experience as a professional driver, with a strong understanding of safe and efficient driving practices.
  • Experience providing excellent customer service and engaging effectively with the general public.
  • Experience working collaboratively within a team to achieve operational goals and ensure smooth delivery processes.
  • Experience in pharmaceutical logistics or temperature-controlled transport preferred (training can be provided).
  • Experience in a similar role is advantageous, ideally you would have some knowledge of GDP (Good Distribution Practices) & MHRA Guidelines along with vehicle safety

Qualifications

  • Valid Class 2 UK driving licence with no more than 6 points,
  • Valid CPC
