As a Depot Supervisor, you’ll play a key role in ensuring our operation runs smoothly, efficiently, and safely. Leading a team of drivers and supporting day-to-day depot activities, you’ll help maintain the high standards our customers rely on while ensuring life-changing medications reach patients accurately and on time. Role Details:
- 45 hours per week (5–6 days), Monday to Friday
- Shift times are 06:00 am - 15:00 pm with reasonable overtime expected
- 30 minute lunch break
Key Responsibilities:
- Leading and supporting a team of delivery drivers
- Overseeing daily dispatch, route planning, and depot operations
- Ensuring compliance with GDP, MHRA standards, and company SOPs
- Managing rotas, holidays, absence, and staff development
- Collaborating with senior management to meet KPIs and service targets
- Conducting vehicle checks and maintaining depot safety and cleanliness
- Leading on recruitment, inductions, and new-starter training
- Providing driving cover when required
Skills & Qualifications:
- 2+ years’ experience in a supervisory or transport management role
- Experience managing drivers and fleet logistics
- Strong understanding of Health & Safety (GDP/MHRA knowledge advantageous)
- Excellent communication, organisational, and decision-making skills
- Ability to work well under pressure in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
- Strong geographical knowledge
- Excellent communication and people skills
- Full UK manual Driving Licence with no more than 6 points
- Subject to DBS and reference checks
- Must have the right to work in the UK
