As a Depot Supervisor, you’ll play a key role in ensuring our operation runs smoothly, efficiently, and safely. Leading a team of drivers and supporting day-to-day depot activities, you’ll help maintain the high standards our customers rely on while ensuring life-changing medications reach patients accurately and on time. No two days are the same, making this the perfect role for someone who thrives on responsibility, enjoys leading and developing people, and takes pride in delivering exceptional service. Your leadership, organisation, and problem-solving skills will be instrumental in driving operational success, supporting your team, and ensuring outstanding patient outcomes.

Role Details:

  • 45 hours per week (5–6 days), Monday to Friday
  • Shift times are 06:00 am - 15:00 pm with reasonable overtime expected
  • 30 minute lunch break

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leading and supporting a team of delivery drivers
  • Overseeing daily dispatch, route planning, and depot operations
  • Ensuring compliance with GDP, MHRA standards, and company SOPs
  • Managing rotas, holidays, absence, and staff development
  • Collaborating with senior management to meet KPIs and service targets
  • Conducting vehicle checks and maintaining depot safety and cleanliness
  • Leading on recruitment, inductions, and new-starter training
  • Providing driving cover when required

Skills & Qualifications:

  • 2+ years’ experience in a supervisory or transport management role
  • Experience managing drivers and fleet logistics
  • Strong understanding of Health & Safety (GDP/MHRA knowledge advantageous)
  • Excellent communication, organisational, and decision-making skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
  • Strong geographical knowledge
  • Excellent communication and people skills
  • Full UK manual Driving Licence with no more than 6 points
  • Subject to DBS and reference checks
  • Must have the right to work in the UK
