About The Role

We have an exciting opportunity for an individual to join our Liverpool FC team as a Player Care Officer. In this varied role, you will provide comprehensive, first-class support to our players to ensure they have minimal distractions from practical issues.

What will you be doing?

You will be part of a small team that delivers first-class, proactive assistance to players by providing services which will include, but are not limited to:

  • Assisting players in setting up their homes with their desired living arrangements and liaising with third parties such as:
  • helping set up tenancy agreements,
  • cleaning services,
  • utilities,
  • liaising with local authorities regarding council tax,
  • TV, telephone/broadband suppliers, and mobile phone providers,
  • insurance companies,
  • sourcing driving lessons and private chefs,
  • setting up families with both private and NHS healthcare.
  • Handling all incoming items delivered for players into the training centre and organising couriers and postage of outgoing items.
  • Facilitating the signing of merchandise on behalf of the players.
  • Providing a concierge service for all players as required.
  • Moving and securing vehicles in the car park, organising vehicle cleaning, deliveries, collections, and connecting players with preferred suppliers.
  • Organising and facilitating vehicle servicing, repairs, taxing, and insuring.
  • Making travel arrangements for players and their visitors.
  • Performing general administrative duties, such as raising purchase orders, paying bills, and handling players\’ ticket requests.
  • Undertaking additional duties during peak times, such as end-of-season arrangements and hosting families and friends at events like finals.
  • Who are we looking for?

    To be successful, you will have previous experience in a Player Care or similar role within a customer-focused, professional elite sporting environment. You should possess excellent office, organisational, and interpersonal skills, and be proficient in more than one language. You need to be proactive, confident working independently, and have good IT and local area knowledge. An understanding of safeguarding and welfare in an elite sports environment is essential. You should be a team player with a flexible approach to duties and hours and hold a full, clean driving license.

    This is a full-time, permanent role working five days out of seven, including some match days. Your main base will be the AXA Training Centre in Kirkby.
