About The Role
We are looking for a Manager, Partnership Operations to join the team at Liverpool FC.
What will you be doing?
- Multi-Site Operational Leadership
- Day to Day operational readiness across Anfield, St Helens and AXA Melwood.
- Ensure all processes across sites are efficient and impactful. Lead on reviewing and updating processes as and when required.
- Ensure consistency in safety and presentation across all partner activations across all sites.
- Collaborate with internal departments and build strong relationships to ensure effective communication of partnership plans are filtered out across the club.
- Act as a senior escalation point for operational challenges, driving resolution and continuous improvement across sites.
- Partnership Branding & Delivery
- Align and work closely with the delivery team to ensure effective communication of contractual rights delivery of all rights – from planning to delivery stage.
- Provide strategic oversight of seasonal branding inventories (e.g. LED, matchday programme, static signage), ensuring optimisation and compliance.
- Oversee the tracking of branding rights throughout the season e.g. matchday programme, LED etc.
- Overseeing the management and planning on the usage of rights – specifically Play on Pitch, Open Training, LED Boards, Static signage, Hospitality Branding, Dressing Room Branding, Fan zone activations, digital integrations and LFC Legends Match.
- Matchday, Fixture Operations & Events
- Ensure all relevant health and safety documentation is provided in a timely manner.
- Oversee contractor management, risk assessments, and method statements.
- Lead partnership operational contact for any adhoc matches held at Anfield eg Play On pitch.
- Oversee all partner related events, private hire or activity across all venues.
- Team Leadership
- Lead and develop the Partnerships Operations team, embedding clear processes, accountability and performance standards.
- Mentor the Senior Executive across operational delivery areas, providing strategic direction and professional development support.
- Promote a positive and collaborative team culture.
Who are we looking for?
The ideal candidate will hold a bachelor’s degree and bring proven experience in commercial partnerships, sponsorship operations, or similar roles within the sports or media industry. They will demonstrate strong project management capability, with the ability to prioritise effectively, manage timelines, and coordinate multiple stakeholders. Excellent leadership, organisational skills, and meticulous attention to detail are essential to ensure accuracy and consistency across operational processes and contract management. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are also key, enabling effective collaboration and relationship-building with both internal teams and external partners.
