We currently have an exciting opportunity for an Electronics Technician to join a leading engineering company based in Southampton.

Introduction

The primary role of the Electronics Technician will involve PCB assembly, wiring, and final build of the products. Training and development will be provided for the right candidate with transferable skills.

Responsibilities

Reporting to the Lead Assembly Technician, you will be required to work on electronic assemblies, final build, and basic testing. This will include soldering PCBs, basic wiring, and using systems to input data and log results.

Ideal Experience

  • Assembly within an electronics/electrical environment
  • Soldering – IPC soldering qualification would be beneficial
  • Wiring (basic) – understanding of wiring diagrams
  • Engineering drawings
  • Hand tool exposure
  • PC Literate

Salary: £26,000

Hours: Day Shift Monday to Friday
