We currently have an exciting opportunity for an Electrical Technician to join a leading engineering company based in Fareham.
Introduction
The primary role of the Electrical Technician, once fully trained as an Engineer, will be to design and develop control systems for complex technical machines and equipment. This role offers significant development opportunities for the right individual.
Responsibilities
Your duties will include working on motion control equipment and drives, safety systems, and monitoring systems—PLC and video-based. The role will involve a mix of desk-based specification, design, and documentation, as well as hands-on work on the production line, coordinating and assisting with tasks. Therefore, a hands-on approach is essential for this position.
Ideal Experience
- Engineering Degree or equivalent relevant experience.
- Experience with electrical control systems is beneficial.
- Experience in electrical circuit fault finding.
- Experience in wiring and knowledge of wiring standards.
- Willingness to be hands-on.
- Keen to develop and progress.
- Proficient in MS Office.
Salary
£30,000 – £35,000
