As a Senior Tax Consultant, you'll specialise in R&D & Innovation Tax, managing client Tax Credit claims and consulting on their financial aspects. You will work alongside our technical consultants to write the R&D Tax Credit claims for HMRC. With autonomy over your client portfolio, you will be responsible for building relationships with decision makers. Staying up-to-date with industry developments and legislative changes.
Responsibilities
- Manage client Tax Credit claims and provide consulting on their financial aspects in the R&D & Innovation Tax space.
- Work with technical consultants to prepare R&D Tax Credit claims for HMRC.
- Maintain autonomy over your client portfolio and build relationships with decision makers.
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and legislative changes.
Experience and Qualifications
- 2+ years experience in a client facing role, ideally within a consulting business.
- UK Corporation Tax experience, ideally within R&D Tax.
- Relevant Accounting or Tax qualifications are preferred but not essential (Accounting & Finance BSc, ACA, ACCA, ATT, CTA).
