Job Title: Cybersecurity & Connectivity Engineer Reporting To: IT Manager Working Hours: Full-time, 36 hours per week PayScale: SC12 Leyton Sixth Form College offers a wide range of A level and vocational courses to approximately 2,300 full-time 16–19-year-old students. We are looking for cyber security and connectivity engineer to cover all aspects of digital protection of the college perimeter with the necessary hardware and software configured and administered to provide full protection from the dynamically evolving threat space and threat actors. The role’s focus is to monitor and analyse threats using latest monitoring tools and techniques and to act proactively to remove the threats. The successful candidate will have excellent communication, organisational and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to be supportive and develop good working relationships with students, staff, and external representatives. You should be suitably qualified to teach within a sixth form college. In addition, you should have excellent communication skills and a track record of sustained improvement leading to a positive impact on students’ progress.
