You will be a Sales Manager for a leading UK manufacturer within the technical building products / construction sector, based on-site in Hertfordshire. The role involves leading, developing, and scaling the sales function within your division with two internal sales reports.

Responsibilities

  • Support technical solution design and manage complex customer queries
  • Monitor pipelines, KPIs and performance metrics with robust forecasting
  • Collaborate cross‑functionally with operations and marketing
  • Coach, challenge, and inspire the team to adopt best‑practice sales habits and evidence‑based performance behaviours, driving measurable, predictable results
  • Translate strategic direction into tactical execution through oversight and hands‑on involvement
  • Develop key accounts, support technical solutions, and embed EOS principles

Qualifications and Traits

  • Proven track record in sales management and business development
  • Experience in technical sales – ideally within building products / construction manufacturing or engineering
  • Demonstrated success in coaching, training and developing high‑performing sales teams
  • Being commercially astute with strong analytical and forecasting skills
  • Excellent communication and outstanding relationship‑building skills
