We are working with a leading and growing UK manufacturer within the technical building products / construction sector seeking a driven, ambitious and self-motivated Sales Manager to be based on-site in Hertfordshire.
This UK manufacturer is known for quality and innovation of product offering supplying to engineering and manufacturing businesses covering a variety of sectors including construction, roads, marine, safety, architectural and agriculture to name a few.
As Sales Manager, you’ll take full responsibility for leading, developing, and scaling the sales function within your division with two internal sales reports. You’ll build a culture of performance and accountability, empowering your team to deliver exceptional customer experiences and consistent sales growth.
Success in this role means creating a high-performing inbound sales team while establishing a proactive, outbound business development capability. You’ll coach, challenge, and inspire and adopt best-practice sales habits and evidence-based performance behaviours, driving measurable, predictable results.
Reporting to the Divisional Lead, you will translate the strategic direction of the group and division into tactical execution through oversight and hands-on involvement - personally developing key accounts, supporting technical solutions, and embedding EOS principles. Monitor pipelines, KPIs and performance metrics with robust forecasting.

Any experience in technical sales – ideally within building products / construction manufacturing or engineering would be beneficial as well as demonstrated success in coaching, training and developing high-performing sales teams.

On offer is a salary of up to £50,000 (maybe more depending on experience), plus uncapped bonus (likely OTE £62,000) and 25 days’ plus bank holidays and a buy and sell holiday scheme, free on-site parking and standard Government pension scheme.
