If you’re a proactive and commercially-driven sales professional looking to progress into your first field sales role then read on… This is a fantastic opportunity to join a global manufacturer recognised for its quality, sustainability, and innovative interior fit out products. They are now looking for an Area Sales Manager to cover the North of the UK.

In this role, you’ll take ownership of the region, developing and growing relationships with independent retailers to strengthen brand presence and drive sales. While you will mainly be targeting retailers, you’ll also spend a small amount of time working with developers, architects, interior designers, installers, and merchants to secure new project opportunities. You’ll be supported by an experienced team, including marketing, category, and technical experts.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Maintaining and growing existing accounts through regular business visits
  • Identifying and securing new retail and project clients
  • Supporting product launches
  • Ensuring all CRM data and forecasts are accurate

To be successful, you’ll need some sales experience, have strong communication skills, lots of energy, be highly self-motivated, enjoy winning new business and have a clear drive to achieve results. This role requires a commercially-driven and organised individual who is comfortable using digital sales tools and working within a KPI-driven sales environment.

On offer is a salary of £30,000-£40,000 plus an uncapped monthly and quarterly bonus, hybrid company car, iPhone, iPad, company credit card, home broadband allowance, 7% pension contributions, private medical cover including dental, and 38 days holiday including bank holidays. Ongoing training and career progression are fully supported.
